CR Weber throttle linkage 347cid

Does anyone out there have an 8 stack on their CR small block? I am trying to configure throttle linkage for it. So far I have to pull 11 pounds on the bell crank, and don't know if the standard cable linkage will handle that.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

How about old school hard line?

Thanks for the input, do you have a cable from foot pedal through firewall? Also, do you run a thermostat in your cooling system? Thanks. Neil
