Temp gauge

How does. The gages come out of my 92 build ? The temp is bad I can barley get my hand on it how does it mount in the. Dash . Does it come out backwards or out the front of dash? Not much room there, does it clip in or what? Bulldog

It comes out from the front of dash. There is a clip on the back of the gauge that holds the gauge to the dash like this..

If you cannot get your hand back there... You may have to take the dash off.

Here is a better idea of how the clips hold the gauges against the dashboard.

Best way I found is to have all the essential tools in a short arms reach. Lay on your back with you legs up over the backs of the seats. You are upside down looking up, much easier than trying to twist from your knees.
