questions abour cr for sale
Anyone seen this one before. I have seen some smaller bad photos before. Mostly curious about the wheel /tire size / offset. Yes it doesn't look like they positioned the body/firewall support right. Could just be the way I am looking at it. i remember it mostly because of the 351C, and the rare Ford Motorsport stabilized valve covers.

Off hand it looks like your setup Tom.

I see what your saying as we knew my body before paint was only held on by 2-bolts, and off by 3/4" it was just laying on the Chassis. After Troy (Painter) realigned everything, the Body & Firewall fit perfect, They may have not done that on this CR. Don't get me started on these silly looking 18" wheels, or the rubber band tires LOL. Merry Christmas John, You haven't seen the Green Cobra since we finished it. It's in Port Ludlow for the winter. Cheers Tom.

Thanks Tom, The tell tail is the dash, but was future planning, I might need to run 17 or 18 if I decide to add sn197 brakes. I did some digging on the forum before, maybe again.

TommyRot...you "finished" the green car? So, just why is it that you've not driven it?
|
Well Karlos, you know the answer to that, I'm scared it will break something ;) Plus I still have to save enough money to keep oil in it :) As you keep telling me SideOilers, leak, drip, and generally embarrass themselves in pubic. Not ready for that kind of Shame, quite yet :) The Rot.

My clutch is so very heavy; I need a solution. Anyone?? Rich
|
Well, first of all check the linkage adjustment, second make sure the ball on the clutch fork is lubricated, otherwise you get into things like a worn cross shaft (z-bar), bent linkage and such. Obviously your clutch choice makes the biggest difference. Valeo makes most clutches n matter who's name gets put on it. Centerforce always seems to light to me, but probably the best choice (think 63/64 Galaxie) tried it my t-5, always go back to a King Cobra clutch in that case.
