rear control arm bushings
Which bushing are correct front and rear, need to freshen up before I tackle addl projects.
Moog sb340 or NAPA 274-6542- are these the same? Are they the same front and rear Going to replace the upper arms and use spherical bearings in the Diff mounts possibly |
Checking my notes it’s 14 3/4” cntr to cntr for 9/16” control arm bushing bolts
Don Scott used the sb340s, 1 11/16” x 3” , 9/16” ID My 1993 lower arm have Clevite Silentbloc bushings with 61293 on rubber Anybody got a 30 year old Clevite bushing catalogue, no match on web These have 1 5/8 “ OD x 2 1/2” wide outer diameter steel piece 9/16” x 3” inner sleeve and rubber width Forget that stuff I’m now going poly joints on the chassis and spherical joints on rear end Team Z has some great arms Been kayakin body hurts all over all is great can’t wait to get home |
