Excalibur Bennett Coachworks exhaust gaskets

Hello Excalibur Folks.

I have an Excalibur with a Bennett Coachworks custom exhaust/header system. I have some major exhaust leaks so I would like to swap out the collector gaskets. does anybody have a part number for them? I have been all over Summitracing.com and have no confidence what is in my cart is the right stuff.

thanks!

There are several sizes out there although they look the same. Try these measurements:
Cobra Valley's Cobra Header Collector Gaskets

Soupy's also makes two different types., look on Ebay for those. I'd go with the top ones first. Way better gaskets.

Thanks, mine are shaped a bit differently but I am going to try these. it is hard to compare the measurements vs what I have but these guys are local to me and I am going to give them a call tomorrow to discuss.

I appreciate the link.

Buy some gasket material and make your own. Not that difficult, really.

The hole dimensions are on jegs, summit etc. I bought two sets. One for future when I can’t remember where the f I bought them the last time.

The graphite impregnated are waaaaaaay better than the make your own gaskets. yes cheaper, but the metalized hold up better, but tougher to cut.

Just find an old fashioned family owned parts store and show them what you need. My local guys ask me what I need and not what I have.

Ever heard that Johnny Cash song about his Cadillac?

That is virtually unheard of these days. Long gone are parts bins with individual parts. Let alone having any clue. That's what you get with an "I'll just order it online".
