So in summary:

- Wilwood Disc Brakes 140-14271 - Wilwood Classic Series Dynalite Front Brake Kits - usd 588

- Right Stuff Detailing ZDCRD03 - Right Stuff Detailing Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kits - Usd 432

Total usd 1,020

Am I tracing well ? I guess I will order 1 unit from each of these two sets and may I say that my brakes problem solved or do you think I should add anything else to the order ?

Many thanks again …

You'll need a hose kit for the front brakes and an adjustable proportioning valve for the rear brakes. I'd also highly recommend speed bleeders / quick bleeders.

Master cylinder to match and power boost too, not sure about power

Hi Jim

What a timely message 😃

I showed my mechanic the two links we agreed earlier from Summitracing and he kept insisting something is missing ! He kept calling it (in turkish translation), “central cylinder next to the front pedals” I suppose he meant the master cylinder you sent, I will be checking with him…will also check the booster

By any chance, do you think it’s possible to get these from summit racing in order to have one single order ? Again sorry, I’m not being lazy, just don’t want to make any mistake if you get a chance to spot these parts at summit…otherwise I will stick to your recommendation, no choice….and you also mentioned about hoses, any chance to send me a link to that too because I think he was asking those too…

Lastly, he feels completely ok with the earlier link on the break kit for rear side but the pictures of the front kit at summit didn’t satisfy him as it’s not showing the full kit…I am copying the link to the front kit from earlier messages and could someone confirm this is all I need for the front system although the pictures are.not comprehensive enough ? I had shared the pictures of my existing system earlier with measurements and this kit was recommended based on that but it seems the picture at summit is not showing full kit

Hi Jim

What a timely message !

My Turkish mechanic kept asking about what he calls “Central cylinder” - I suppose this is what he meant in Turkish !

Don’t want to make any mistake, Do you have any chance to find me this booster and master cylinder at summit racing so I can do a single order ?? And what about the hoses, because he was asking yhe same ? If it’s not possible, I will follow your recommendation on supplier

And finally, although he was entirely satisfied with the summit link that’s showing the rear kit, he told me the pictures of the front kit is not showing the entire kit…do you think we are still all right ? Sending the link on the front kit

Brian and Sunman — you must be seeing I’m struggling….I appreciate all feedback but telling me to buy something extra without sending me links just don’t help me much unfortunately. Am sorry again to ask more work from you but this is reality, I am just getting more confused because I am not on top of this work

jknich 10-29-2021 08:34 AM

Artur, These hoses should work for the front, may need adapter at caliper end. You need a hose from the rear axle too. Summit has lots of master cylinder and boosters but more dedicated to factory replacement and not universal or custom that you need. I'll try to put something together from Summit.

Artur, Actually found a better buy from Summit:

Hello Jim and all !

You guys made my day, thank you so much for all help

So finally l am ordering the following 4 parts:

- Wilwood Disc Brakes 140-14271 - Wilwood Classic Series Dynalite Front Brake Kits - usd 588

- Right Stuff Detailing ZDCRD03 - Right Stuff Detailing Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kits - Usd 432

In a good shape now ? Anything more to add ? What about hoses ?

If it’s too difficult to get everything from summit, I don’t mind buying some items from another supplier too - it will be an international shipment that’s why I was trying to do everything from one place but that’s not a big problem at this stage

Artur, https://www.summitracing.com/parts/wil-220-11237

You may have to find a few little things locally.

Artur 11-02-2021 12:15 AM

gentlemen ...(no ladies in the forum i suppose....)

following your guidance on needed additions, here are the 3 items i am planning to add to the FRONT and REAR SETS you had confirmed earlier (SUMMIT LINKS WERE PROVIDED BY JIM NICKHOLS IN THE ABOVE TRAIL)

1. master cylinder

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/wil-261-13270-bk

Wilwood Disc Brakes 261-13270-BK - Wilwood Aluminum Tandem Master Cylinders

2. Power Brake Booster

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-760167

Summit Racing SUM-760167 - Summit Racing® Power Brake Boosters

3. Brake Hose

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/wil-220-8307

Wilwood Disc Brakes 220-8307 - Wilwood Brake Flexline Kits

The sales rep mentioned that the REAR KIT that i am buying has in it the required hoses for the rear side so he included only hoses for the front side (item no:3 above)

Do you think i am done now ? how you feel about the complete set i am coming up with ?

any suggestion, comment appreciated...i am close to pushing the delivery button as soon as i have your feedback

thanks for all your help as usual

jknich 11-02-2021 08:07 AM

Artur, I think you would like a 1" master better.

Artur 11-02-2021 12:30 PM

Thanks Jim, appreciated - especially the link 😃 this would not cause any fitment problems right ? I mean compared to the option I sent earlier…this is just to be sure

jknich 11-02-2021 01:19 PM

Artur, The same except ID. Softer pedal, better modulation and most important about 200psi more at the calipers.

Artur 11-03-2021 03:10 AM
