Hood Prop Rod
I will have my CR1 back from paint soon. I need hood & trunk prop rods. Suggestions?

Just buy the 1/4" tubing at Hardware store, prop rods are simple. Pinch down end and drill for bolt/nut on car end, get rubber topper for the top end.
Trunk, MG units on ebay. Cheap but may need a trim as the Cobra one is shorter.

Go on Amazon and search for prop rods. There are quite a few different styles. I ended up with one from a Jeep. I had to make a very small modification, but it fit great. It was stainless, and cost about $20 if I recall.

I just made mine, and exactly as Jeff noted, except I used 3/8” steel line. Csxparts.com has the rubber cap for 3/8” tubing. There is a pic in my build thread.
