Here is a fun thread on the number meatball with a light, like originals! Cheers, Dennis http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/orig...s-mirrors.html

Before you buy and apply the number meatballs, check with your State DMV regulations regarding their use on street-driven vehicles. Some states have no issues others have severe heartburn. The time to find out which side of that line your state is standing on is before you spend money to put them on.

Boy that's a new one. What state(s) have that draconian law?

I saw the commentary in a thread somewhere in the last couple of months, Tony. Although when I tried to find it again, I came up empty-handed. My commentary was more of a cautionary heads-up, for the OP. It is always frustrating to spend money that regulatory considerations cause you to lose for no other reason than not checking before starting the project. Chances are he is OK, but a quick check always eliminates the unforeseen whoops ...

Yes, being educated before going in to the DMV is always good advice. Then you won't get caught with the idiotic requirement that a 1965 look and feel be equipped with new style trunk mounted brake lights.
