Rear suspension upgrades?

Hi CR family,

Looking to improve the rear live axle 4 link set up for auto cross racing? The current set up is QA1’s Fox Body lower control arms custom fitted to replace the CR lower arms. Yes they are completely boxed and it made a difference for sure. It also has a Currie F9 rear end fitted to a Fox body with the upper control arms made by QA1. Shocks are also QA1 Double adjustable with 200lbs 10 inch springs and 1 inch adjustable rear sway bar from QA1. The front sway bar is 7/8’s and I’m running 18 inch 9.5 with front off sets at 4.75 and the same 9.5 in the rear at 5.25 with 275 -35-18 Toyo Proxes R888r’s all the way around, car was also scaled with a result of 48 front and 52 rear with full 20 gallon tank custom made and 200 lbs driver. Battery is located in the passenger side trunk.

Looking to either go with a 3 link or Watts System?

Well, my suspension is a lot like yours except my QA1 rear springs are 475 lb and my front are 500 lb. I love the way it rides, drives and handles. But I do not auto cross the car.

I’m thinking about spring weight increase as an easy inexpensive change. Good feed back, anyone else?
