Ok,
while I am waiting to get a Lucas OFF-ON-ON toggle,... I bought a headlight switch from Advance, it has a 15 amp fuse built in, I connected the thing following the diagram, and when I pull it, to the 2nd (headlight) position,.. it pops the 10 amp (lo-beam) fuse in the Fuse Box... What the *X*X ??? ......Boy, does it get any easier???? :)

RZ, How many terminals and how did they tell you to wire it?

Don,
It has the Battery In on Back End. Then 2 Prongs down each side. The Left - Rear Prong says PARKING LIGHTS. The Left - Front says HEADLIGHTS. BOTH Right prongs say TAILLIGHTS.
The the 15 Amp fuse runs down the middle.

I have #112 connected to the BATTERY IN.
#141 I attached to the HEADLIGHTS prong.

#171 I attached to the PARKING LIGHTS prong... POPPED 10 Fuse in Fuse Panel.
Then I attached #171 to TAIL LIGHTS Prong .. Still poped Fuse in Fuse Panel. .... I am lost here.

Did you try and touch #112 and #171 together? If the lights work then you know it's the switch hookup. If the fuse still blows then there's a short somewhere in the tail light circuit. I would check all the bulbs, I've had them short the circuit before.

Don,
found the problem...parking light wires were touching....switch is working good. Thanks for your help. I hope I won't have to bug you for a while. :)
