Can't Find Engine Mount??

Does anyone know where to get a LHS Engine Mount for a SBF (302) CRL?? I found this NAPA part number (6021639) going through the old postings but the frame side attachment is different than what I have. My frame side is a clevice or cannon bracket with a single Fore/Aft thru-bolt. The aforementioned NAPA part has two vertical studs for the frame side attachment. Can anyone make a suggestion??
Thanks,
Dave F

Check that NAPA number again, I think I used that on my Boss. One stud side has a pimple on it to orientate in the mount. I have plates for mounts and they drop over the studs pointing up.

There is a NAPA store in Troy, I can not remember the exact location. Check their web site. The guy there was pretty reasonable about letting me look at a few things before I paid for mine.

Good luck.

Anchor #2316 is what you are looking for.

Purchased at Kragens $12.95

Good quality and has a through bolt to prevent separation too.

Dave, it sounds like you have the Ford mounts. These were only available from Ford. The new mount which is from a Mustang GT are different. The Part# for the Ford mounts are D7ZZ-6038-A for the left side and D7ZZ-6038-B for the right side. Ford no longer makes these mounts but they are still in the system if the dealer will search for them. There is no aftermarket replacement that I know of.

Don, that is what I'm beginning to find out.
The gentleman with the posting on this subject previous to your response may well be my savior... I do not have his recomended parts stores in MI, but I found his part ## online and the picture looks very much like the mount I have to replace, if you have time check it out:

Thank You All for the Responses...

NAPA part #602-1151 are a replacement for D7ZZ-6038A and B. I bought them at the local NAPA store for $13.33 A PIECE. (WEB SITE HAS THEM ABOUT .50 CENTS CHEAPER, BUT THEN YA GOTTA PAY SHIPPING). They seem to fit fine, although all I have done so far is test fit. Thanks, Earl

Earl, just got back from NAPA, the part that you recomended will fit ($14.99). The big difference between what I have on my CRL now and the NAPA part I just bought is the (over-travel) restraint pin. All US automobile manufactureres have a "severed elastomer" test to verify that if the rubber fails the additional motion will not cause harm to the vehicle or occupants (GM was sued in the 60's because a failed mount caused the throttle linkage to stick in the WOT position). I think if the new part failed, my side pipe will become the over-travel restraint. I'm gonna wrap a cable or two around the mount just in case.... Thanks!

Are these the mounts your looking for?

I'm not using them. I had them mounted in the chassis but I decided to switch to the new mounts.

If any one wants them drop me an email
