Classic Roadsters sway bar end links
Don, it seems like I made a mistake when installing the front sway bar.
I used stock MustangII end links, as a result the sway bar is now angled down at the ends and gets very close to the tie rods. http://img98.exs.cx/img98/1739/sway_bar.jpg I think I need longer end links to get the sway bar ends up. Do I need parts from a donor car or are these end links made by Classic Roadsters? Thanks, Simon |
Simon, from the picture it looks like the sway bar is mounted upside down. This would also explain why you have no suspension movement. If you look at the bar I bet it's bottoming out on the frame. Should make a world of difference since the front is probably solid now.

I'll check this as soon as possible. However I remember the original end links were longer than the stock MustangII parts. |
The links look close to the right length. If they are not I have new end link kits. The sway bar is probably holding the front end up so that may take care of your spring problem also.
