Exhaust Sealant
Don, you mentioned a sealant being used between the primaries and the side exhaust system rather than a gasket.
What is the brand name and type ? ............thanks |
I used Permatex Ultra Copper silicon sealant per Don Scott's advise and I have had no leaks. Most auto parts stores have it.

Don, Art is correct. I'm sure everyone is curious about the forum page on the CR website. I had to change my host and we didn't get the software that I paid for so we have been working on getting it and installing it on the new host. We should be up and running by Monday. Sorry about the problem.

A high tech question, is the Permatex brand essential, went to the Auto Parts stores, they have the Ultra Copper silicon, but not Permatex ? Don |
I use the Ultra Cooper RTV and hace had great results. I do not think it was Permatex brand, I think it was 3m.
I suggest you let it stand for a moment before you bolt the pieces together. |
