Changing dash and looking for ideas

I want to improve the look of my dash. I have cut holes that are no longer need and have vents that were never connected to the heat. I have a 92 CR with custom dash. What would a new fiberglass dash ,vinyl and pad cost? Or is there someone that might have a dash that they did not need.

I am also considering a wood dash. I am wondering what other members have used for a wood dash and how to attach it.

Or is there a third option?

Thanks
Doug

Another option is a stainless steel dash. I had one made and it looks very classy. I don't have pix handy, but email me at showman37@hotmail.com .net if you're interested.

Doug, a new straight dash will cost about $100 with the vinyl and pad. The custom dash like the one you have would cost about $175 with the vinyl and pad. You can use your old glove box in either dash. Another alternative would be to remove your dash and have it covered with aluminum or stainless. I've also seen a few that were covered with wood veneer.
