Fastners for primary/headers to side pipes ?

Don, your thoughts and recommendations regarding the bolts, nuts and fastener material to use when attaching the side exhausts to the header/primaries ?

I am referring to the use of Loctite, lock nuts with nylon insets, lock washers, grade of bolt and nut etc ? There have been previous threads on the topic , but I could not find.

...........thanks

Don: Use only mechanical locking fasteners, for instance Jet nuts, or Stover nuts on Stainless bolts (ideally) or grade 5 or better if you use SAE grade fasteners. No lock washers, just AN type or small diameter stainless washers. No nylock nuts (heat will melt nylon) or split lock washers (heat will again damage these).

Don, I agree with Rick.
