Brakes are hard

The brakes on my CR Cobra are very hard!It does seem
to stop well, but I have to use a lot of pedal pressure. The car
has the standard mustang 11 front disc and rear drum.Non
power brakes.
There was a previous thread about relocating
the pedal mounting for increased leverage.Does anyone have
an update if that worked?I have a power brake unit that i will
have installed.

Softer pads may help.

I would add the power booster. If the brakes stop the car you just may need the power assist. I don't have a new pedal for the manual brakes but I have redesigned the pedal for power. If you change to power you will need to change the pedal anyway.
