That bike is a Triumph Daytona 955i. I have a Yamaha RZ350 and a Honda VFR500 on the side of the house.

Thats funny ,I sold my RZ350 on ebay last month!I had no
idea there was so much interest in the RZs.I have never
had so many bids on any item i have sold on ebay.
If I new how much interest there is in them,
i would have fixed it up before selling it.

They are actually worth quite a bit.. Mine is 21 years old and I have had offers as high as 3k for it. And its a bit beat up.

When I ordered mine it was about 3 weeks from the time I ordered it til it showed up in California on my doorstep.. Maybe a little less..

JAC 08-21-2006 09:59 AM

Oh yeah.. that will take some time.. Thats why I went with the phase 1 kit only and then staged the orders before I would really need them.. In case there was any wait time.. The only thing I had to really wait on was interior and I was ok with that since I wasn't really ready for it any way. By ordering the phase one I was able to build the roller out by christmas. Then in January I ordered phase 2 and had it in 2 weeks. Then I was able to do all of that fitment. Then in March I ordered phase 3 and it came in about 1.5 months but by then the car was at the body shop so I didn't really need it and it showed up here while the body was being painted..

Chin up.. you'll be happy when it arrives. Is it coming as a roller?? Sounds like you will have most of the parts to make a roller to me.

Excellent.. I went with the 393 stroker kit on a 69 windsor block, T5Z tranny, 9" rear end. the color is Indigo blue with Wimbledon White. Now that mine is almost done I might sell and it start over.. It was more fun to build then I think it will be to drive. I really enjoyed all of the assembly/fabrication part but that's just me.. Maybe Ill drive it for a while and see what happens.. My wife has authorized me to build a gt-40 next. Maybe we just need a bigger garage. With 2 mustangs and a cobra it can get cramped around here.

I wouldn't get too frustrated.. It's worth the wait I say. Even my painter was impressed on how well built this car is.. The hinges for the doors have some serious meat to them.. ;>)

JAC 08-21-2006 10:59 AM

Sounds great, love those cars too. Good luck and enjoy. Thanks.
