Tops for Classic roadster

What's the deal with the tops? when are you going to start shipping. if it's a supplier problem maybe it's about time to source a new supplier. enough already!!

How long have you been waiting?

brandonF 04-11-2007 08:09 AM

I think it is close to 8 months. But I'd have to double check my records to be sure. needless to say its been a long time. I'm ready for paint, but need the to fit the top before I can proceed.

I have a bare unfinished hardtop for a Classic Roadsters that you can have for free if you want to drive to Virginia (near DC) and pick it up. I don't want to fool with the whole shipping thing, and dragging it arount to UPS. Let me know.

Thanks, but I'm waiting for a soft top

tcrist 04-11-2007 12:39 PM

CobraEd,
Is the top crated up or loose? What if I had a shipping company come to you and pick it up?

CobraEd 04-11-2007 12:45 PM

its loose. I don't want to screw with it. It would have to be crated up. If it can be shipped as is, you're ready to go.

Man, I would love to get that top and I know how to ship it without crating....

Any of you guys can have it if you take care of the transportation logistics. I don't want to crate it up or bring it anywhere. So if you can take it or ship it as is, it's yours. I would like to see someone enjoy it and get some good use out of it. Only stipulation is that you think of Jack Walsh and give him a mental "thanks". This was his top for his CR. When he passed away a while ago i was given the top free because I am the only other guy (that I know of) in the Capital Area Cobra Club who has a Classic Roadsters car.

So, if anyone wants it as is uncrated, it's yours.

Since before Don bought the company.

Bear in mind, after my last conversation with Pete and Don's reputation, I have little to doubt of their eventual success. I just hope it is before I expire.
