manual brakes

Don,

I was thinking of swapping out the vacuum boosted power brakes for a manual master cylinder to see if I liked the brake "feel" better.

What non-power master cylinder should I use in my CR Cobra with disk brakes?

Thanks!

CMC dual master cylinder is the best, IMO. Willwood also makes a good dual chamber MC.

Pete, I've never run a manual system with 4 wheel disc. I would recommend something like the Wilwood setup or something similar. You will need to modify the pedal setup to get that to work. The setup you have now uses either the manual or power Mustang II master for drum/disc. The 4 wheel power disc typically uses a Corvette master. If you try the Mustang II manual master you will need a different brake pedal. I don't know of a direct manual replacement for the power master.
Don
