griffen radiator install

Could any one tell me about installing the Griffen radiator. Is the brackets that comes with the radiator supposed to bolt to the frame below the radiator with the supplied gasket/wetherstriping between the radiator and brackets? Then are you supposed to use the origional upper radiator brackets to hold everything together? I recieved my new radiator kit from CRII but there are no instructions with the kit%/ . I could just call Pete or Don but I wanted to get some different ideas.

Thanks, Terry

Terry, I took three photos of what your are working out. Same car and Brand of radiator. I thought I knew how to attach the photos to this posting, but I don't and need to do some homework. Send me an e-mail and I'll send the photos to you. tbw650@hotmail.com Tom

one fast mustang,
Did you purchase the new radiator surround when you purchased the radiator kit? I did, maybe thats why I got some brackets. I wish CRII would put together a good parts catalog with pictures of all of the items. Also in the catalog when there is a kit purchase (as in the radiator kit) have a picture of all of the items in the kit so people know what they are supposed tp receive. Maybe a new idea for Don to think about. I'll bet he only has about a thousand ideas going through his mind every day. Just a suggestion Don.

Well there you go.. I didn't buy my radiator from CR.. I have a buddy that owns a radiator shop and he gave me a great deal on a race radiator.. it was like $90 brand new.. works great, maybe a bit too well.. the car stays very cool..
