Lower radiator hose

I bought a Griffin radiator setup from CRII. The bottom outlet is on the passemger side and my waterpump inlet is on the drivers side. Anyone with this combo? Has any one made up a pipe that fits so you only have to put the rubber hoses on the ends to connect the water pump and the radiator?

Thanks, Terry

Terry, I have the same type of set-up on mine, I used the Cool Flex metal hose, worked great!

Cab,
Looks fairly simple that way.

Juggernaut,
Would you happen to have a part number and a place where I can check it out?

Thanks, Terry

Edit: Checked out the Cool Flex web site. Nice looking stuff.

That coolflex site is nice. Good looking stuff. What color combo would you go with? I'm thinking blk/blk. Or blk hose/ silver connectors. Those are on my wish list.

Here is a fabricated lower "Hose", it works perfect.

Rick,
What is the fitting on the top of the fabricated alum tube for?

Terry

edit: corrected spelling

Rick Parker 08-26-2007 08:30 PM

To burb air that is in the upper part of that tube/hose as it fills. I also put one on the uppermost corner of the radiator. It allows any and all air to be removed prior to putting the cap on the surge tank.

Thanks Rick, Terry
