oil cooler shroud

Hey, does anyone have any experience with the oil cooler shroud that comes from finish line.
does it fit our front end, does it actually work with the oil cooler, is it worth buying?

Don't know if it will fit, but I have one I am not using. Should fit the Mocal cooler they sell. $75.00 + shipping and it's yours. Send me a PM or Email if you decide you want it. I could measure it if you want.

They do fit with some minor mods, but I rarely use them since I put an entire shroud in the nose made out of aluminum anyway.

Hey DV.
I cannot make something like that myself, I don't even know where I could get aluminum.
I Guess I am looking for an eazy way to mount the oil cooler and I am sure its going to llok fine too. If you can send some photose of what you do and how it looks in the car I will greatly appriciate and maybe buy one from you.
thanks

Abraham, you will laugh when I tell you how I cover the inside of the nose with aluminum! And I know you can do it! Making one as we speak for another Cobra going to Pittsburg right now. I'll take pictures, But, go to the local hardware and buy a roll of very thin aluminum roof flashing=12" wide please now it may take a couple of trys,(always does :( but the results are magnificant.) Watch for pictures over the next couple of days.............I'd be embarrassed to charge anyone for one of these!

Ed, how the heck are you doing? I wanted to post a photo of Paul's front aluminum, but I have too many photos in my album. How does one delete photos from their album?

Double Venom 05-14-2008 09:23 AM

Steve R!
How the heck are ya? I'm lopsided as ever, stroke doesn't bother me but I know it does to others! :)
I Can't figure out how to delete from the gallery either. If you want send me a picture of Pauls and I'll post it.
Take care my southern friend and tell Paul I said, "Hey!"

Steve,
Who ever thought Pauls Cobra would have come this far after the original build by "You know who"!?

Ready to fly to Texas anytime and do it again! :)
DV
PS I still can't find the "DELETE" button for gallery pictures :( - But I can build a Cobra!

tcrist 05-17-2008 07:46 AM

I still can't figure out how to add pictures to my posts.

DV, If you go into my photo gallery, the first picture is a screen shot of where the edit button is. Go to your photo that you want to delete, click the edit button and at the bottom of the page there is a check box to delete the photo.

How do you add a picture to a post without adding it to your gallery? Or can you?

Terry

"You know who" ...... Sort of like Harry Potter's "He who shall not be named"?
LOL! :)

Ed, as to deleting the photos,
as Terry said, click on the photo you want to delete. There is a box under the photo with the heading: " Photo Details" Inside that box there is another box with the heading: " Additional info" in that box, go down to the 3rd line. there should be 8 little buttons (icons). Click the blue button that has the pencil drawn on it .....that is the edit button.
Now you should be looking at a new page with the heading:
"Club Cobra Photo Gallery Image Editor" (on the top right hand side). Go to the last line in this box ... just above the rectangular button that says: "submit changes" You will see a small square box with the words next to it: "(CAREFUL -once it's gone it's gone)" click that box to put a check mark in it, then click the: "submit changes" box. Shortly, a new screen should appear telling you that the photo has been deleted.
