Don Help!!!!
I'm desperately hoping that you will see this message. I just scheduled my inspection with the Ohio State Highway Patrol and they will not accept a photo copy of my purcahse agreement and they do not even want to see my cancelled checks. I have my Certificate of Origin, which you mailed to me. They want receipts for the kit, engine, and transmission. Or they want the MSO for the engine and transmission. You built me a crate engine from a 1969 Ford 351 Windsor block. You sold me a NEW Tremmec T5 transmission. I took delivery in March of 2006. A letter from you stating that you supplied all of the above will probably not be aceptable. They want to see receipts from where you obtained the engine (block) and transmission. I left a phone message for you, but felt a need to attempt contact via this forum. Please contact me! I'm desperate and need your help. Tom Wood Edit- 7-22-2008: follow-up information. Don Scott contacted the OSHP inspection station and resolved every receipt issue. They accepted his explainations for where he acquired engines and transmissions. He faxed them one receipt that they said they would accept. He even provided the trooper his phone number, so if during the inspections any more issues arose, they could call him, right then and there. Problem resolved! |
