HUCKElBERRY - Shifter mods?

Buddy,
Have you put in that Lokar shifter yet? If so you know, if NOT- some major but easy mods are in order. With the shifter (which is great by the way) is mounted all the way to the rear of the bracket and then adjusted back on the tilt as far as it will go will still strike the dash or make it very uncomfortable for you to shift to or out of park! You're also going to have to cut the forward tunnel (Firewall piece) and not the regular parking brake or shifter tunnel to get it to mount.
Be more than glad to explain farther if you want ? Best shifter for looks, and preformance than I have used in years!
DV
PS. If you are using the 8" shifter then you will really have to move it back!

DV my shifter went in just fine. Sits about 1 1/2" from dash. I think it might be that the 460 is 4 1/2" longer then the 351. Or I just got lucky!!!!! Don't know which!!

Thanks
Robert
