Greetings from the UK - Raydyot Mirrors

Hi Guys.

I'm building a 289 replica and I'm trying to get it as authentic as possible.

I'm after some Raydyot mirrors and I heard through the grapevine that someone in the US supplies them stamped up with the Raydyot logo!

Can anyone help????

Cheers guys!

Motorsports International in San Diego had license to use the dye...don't know if they still do.

Hi Jamo,

Thanks for the response. Do you have any contact details??

Cheers

Jamo 12-02-2009 03:26 AM

Tele number I have from several years ago is 619.390.9080, but it looks like their web site is gone...maybe they are too.

Hawkridge can't find you anybody in the UK that sells them with the stamped logo?

Hi Chaps,

Thanks for the speedy responses.

They do the spun ali mirrors in the UK but they don't have the Raydyot stamp.

I suppose thats the same as the difference between a Wallmart sweater and a Ralph Lauren! ;)

The badge makes all the difference.

Cheers again!

Buy an aftermarket pair from:

http://www.victoriabritish.com/features/mg/MGMRD.htm

http://www.vintagecarparts.co.uk/en/...ttern-details/

Then take them to an engraver and have them engrave the logo on.
