New from SE Pa.
Hi,
I am looking forward to interacting with folks and learning as much as I can. I am in the process of buying my first Cobra, a 2000 built Everett Morrison. I have been a muscle car enthhusiast for ever and have wanted a Cobra since I first saw one. Are there any clubs in my area? |

BBfangs,
First State Mustang has a car show (non-judged) the second Saturday of the month in the Pike Creek area. They normally start about 4:00PM and go till 9:00. The show is at Ruby Tuesday just off Delaware 7 across from Goldy Beacom college. Just a bunch of car guys hanging out. The first one is April 10th. My wife has her horse stabled near Cochranville and I normally can be found driving around your area in my yellow CRII. PM me if you want more info on any doings around here. Jim Stern |
Welcome aboard BBfangs. Good luck with your EM Cobra. I bought mine from EM. I got the stage 2 kit and I never had any problems with the build. In my opinion EM kits are the closest in size, specs and look to the real deal. I live a few miles from Washingtons Crossing and was in a Shelby Show a few years back. I was surprised at how many Cobras were there. Have fun !

Welcome BBfangs, I live right down the road in Avondale, I'll keep an eye out for you.

Thanks for the responses. I'll keep my eyes and ears open for any gatherings. It's a good way to meet new people. edwhite7 your real close. What does your car look like? I will keep my eye out also. Where can you get accessories for Cobras?

My car is a old torsion bar suspension Contemporary Classics. There are some pics in my gallery. It is a all aluminum 427 with dual quads, red with white strips and lots of miles. It's show car days are long gone, 20 years ago.
I get almost everything from eBay and so far I have had good luck. Hope to see you around, maybe this year I will make it to Washington Crossing. I always plan to go and then something else comes up. |
I am in Valley Forge.
Lets cruise! JB :) |
