New guy here from Watsonville/Santa Cruz, Ca.

A friend recently finished a Mustang/Eleanor project and it seems he has contracted "what now-itis".

He just got a partial Cobra kit car w/Mustang donor.

The Cobra is/was a one piece body interior tub at one time. The interior has been cut out and is now in two pieces.
The chassis is quite bare right now. The primary tubes are fairly large dia. round tubing.

I only have had a quick look so far. No pics. yet either. From what I can see so far there are no tags or plates to identify who built it.

Any clues what to look for or where to look on the parts he has to figure out what this is? Seems to me if he can identify the mfg. getting the rest of what he needs might be easier!

If that is the car from the motorcycle guy in Santa Rosa that was on Craigs List, I have some information that might help him out. Only if it is not the one that he had that was set up for a VW engine.

I have a few pictures also.

I talked to that guy a couple times. Never quite got the straight poop. First it was 7k or trade, then 5k no trade then $3500 and back again to 7k. From what I heard it wasn't worth it. Way above the level of a project wanted.

I was thinking about it but all I wanted it for was to splash a mold off of the rear half it for a for a trailer. Hope the guy did not pay too much for it.

This chassis dosen't look like it was set up for VW power.
The rear end was set up for some kind of IRS (Jag?)
I went back and found the advert. It was called a one-off frame.
I had hoped it was one of the kit brands. At least then he might be able to retro-fit some of the suspension.
It was supposed to have been a running driving car when the last guy got it.
It was a one piece interior tub/cockpit floor body once. It's been cut so the tub is now 2 pcs.
