My Supeformance Cobra arrived yesterday and it has been raining ever since, which has given me time to detail the car.
I bought the car from the original owner.
I would like to add back some of the original luster to the aluminum wheels, but don't want them to look like they have been polished.
Does anyone have any recommendations on what to use?
Thanks,
Stan

I see you've been enjoying our unusual weather today, too!

I'd suggest you head for a Pep Boys or an O'Reilley Auto Parts and ask for some products from "Mother's". Many of their products are designed to bring aluminum wheels back to new appearance, others are designed to be used for polishing to a brighter finish.

Murphy's law in action....we get NO rain for 6 months, and the day your Cobra arrives it rains all day.....just wait, though, the clouds will leave and then you'll be able to enjoy our delightful fall weather for cruising!

Cheers, Dugly

Congratulations on your new SPF. Most of the aluminum polishes work well. I would suggest one in a paste form. Also the Mothers power ball and a drill makes quick work of polishing aluminum.

Great tips. Thanks.
Yeh, I wasn't complaining about the rain, just the timing.
Stan
