New member from SC
Hello everyone. Well this website has officially become my new addiction. I'm currently building a FFR MK4 and have thouroghly enjoyed every moment of the process so far.
A little background on my build: my overall goal is to model my car after the S/C's. I truly want to go for the most original look that i can achieve with in reason. So much so that I am now reconsidering my original color combo because I don't think any of the SC's were Wimbledon white with the blue stripes. See what I mean about this forum, every time I think my blueprint is complete I read another post. I look forward to reading and learning from you guys! Thanks, Joey |
Factory 5 cars rule, they have one of the best chassis in the business, I want to cruise a cobra at mustang week in Myrtle Beach sometime, have you ever been to it.

Welcome to the addiction!
Where in SC do you live? There are lots of FFR cars around Greenville and a few other types as well. Guys nearby can be very helpful during a build. Would be happy to show you mine and talk to you about how my build went. I went for the S/C look as well, but with non-original paint colors. Hal |
I have also seen several ffrs in the greenville area as well as several other makes, if i can be of any help let me know , i have a fairly fully equiped shop

I went to mustang week several years back. At that time there were more late model cars than the classics. A friend of mine took his '67 down last year and said there was a little better variety and a LOT more cars overall.
ERA 778 / Nobody: I live in Lexington and unfortunatly I haven't meet anyone close by. I meet several guys from the upstate area last spring at the AutoFair. I have some good friends that live in Powdersville so next time I'm in the area I'll try look you guys up. Isn't there a periodic cruise in / get together in Greenville? Joey |
Check over on the FFR forum. There's a section there for regional clubs. The Greenville area guys with FFR cars organize their get-togethers through that.
Many of them go to the Chiefs Wings and Firewater Thursday night Cruise-ins that will start back in March. Hal |
You`re not too far from me as I`m just down the road in Aiken . Did you know about the cruise ins at Fat Boys starting in the spring ? I try to make several of them a year .... but I was the only "Cobra " there .
Are you considering tracking your car ? If so , there is VIR up in Danville , VA and Carolina Motorsports in the Camden area . You`re in a good location for both of those . Bob |
