From MO

Long time messer upper and rat rodder of street cars, started with a 66 Mustang back in the day, and built it from a 6/3spd to a 302 with top loader, discs, tri ys, etc. Had it for 18 years and gave it up when I couldn't stack three child seats in the back - like a lot of others.

Been driving a '90 Cherokee for a while, same motif - if it's broke, fix it better, and fortunately, it doesn't break much for the little money to be spent. It gets up and down the back yard ok (20 foot drop to the dry creek,) and handled 19" of snow last year, with nothing much special about it.

But, the potential of a retirement check brightens the automotive horizon, along with some of the kids moving out, etc. So, I've been looking at what to build, with a background that I can, given time.

Missouri is B&B county. You should be able to drop by their place for a visit and check out their products.

If you're in the St Louis area, drop by Sonic in Chesterfield tonight around 7pm. There will be several manufacturers - Factory 5, Hurricane, ERA, Superformance and maybe a B&B.

B&B is not a viable builder these days. Ownership has changed and their key fabricator and quality control person is no longer there.

I strongly recommend Hurricane or Backdraft. Bestest bang for your bucks.
