Hello
I would like to introduce myself to the forum. Some info on my roadster: I own a Factory Five MKII with a 5.0, Holley Ultra 650 carb, 4X4 Stainless headers, Stainless sidepipes, T5, 8.8 rear with 11.65" disc brakes, 4 Link tubular control arms, Tubular front lower control arms, 13" front disc brakes, Stainless roll bar, Emerald green paint, Black interior, Kirkey vintage seats. I've owned it since 2009, bought from a dealership in Georgia and had it shipped to Ohio. It had some problems but I got it at a good price and I knew I could get it straightened out. It took about 6 months to get it roadworthy and now I have been enjoying it as much as I can. I belong to the Ohio Cobra Club and have attended the London Cobra Show the past few years, and am going again this year. If your at LCS and see my roadster come over and say hi!

Hi Eric, welcome to the forum!
we would love to see some pictures of your car. What did you have to do to make it road worthy? Ray |
Welcome to the forum. The LCS is on my bucket list.

The roadster had wiring issues, the brake lines were all installed wrong, the engine and trans leaked flluids, and the stock mustang rear suspension was still in place. My first project was to pull out the wiring harness and cover it with split loom and reinstall it. It was quite a job with the body in place, but it all worked when I got it back in place. I then pulled the engine and trans to clean, regasket, and paint them. While I had the engine out I rerun all the brake lines as the ones in the roadster were held in place with wire ties. All new hard and flex lines installed with the correct clips and mounts. I then pulled all the stock mustang rear suspension and installed Koni coilovers and tubular upper and lower control arms. From there its not stopped, as I've changed the interior from tan to black, put in Kirkey Vintage seats, Speedhut GPS speedo and tach, 4x4 stainless headers and sidepipes, and on and on.... I guess they are never done, are they? Eric |

I'm lucky as London Ohio is about a 50 minute drive from where I live in central Ohio. Its a great time and the people I've met there are friendly and great to be around. I've always had a great time and cannot wait till this years show. You have to make it sometime. You will have a great time! Eric |
