My name is Wayne and I'm new to this wesbite but have had 1993 LA EXOTIC COBRA for since 2002. I'm second owner and hopefully the last ownerLOL. Recently I received my new ins. Quote from Condon&Skelly practically doubling my rate. It was $399 a yr and now $750. This was a upsetting quote. Can somebody advise me of another reasonable ins. Co? Wanna keep car on road and still have gas money!!
Will try to post some pics of my car. Just put EFI on it this summer and WOW I like it even more.

insurance

Wayne, welcome.
I have mine with State Farm, my alltogether insurance co.
What I did was get a special rate for limited mileage...7k a year. I was pretty cheap. Do they check? rarely. But that is worth the savings and if they were to ask you tell what you want. They don't come out and view.
' Just see how that goes.

+ 1 for State Farm. Treat it as just another car.

Thanks u guys for the info! I will call them on Monday and let u know how I made out.

Went to Infinity website only to know I tried them on Wednesday. Sad to say they don't insure cars in Michigan. Isn't that crazy!!!

charles roybal 08-18-2012 07:46 PM

state farm..... no milage constraints....they were great when the GMC t-boned me last year.

Does anybody live in Michigan and have trouble getting ins on ur Cobra? I'm going to call State Farm today but would like another company to call too!

Tom Cimino 08-20-2012 01:35 PM

I also have State Farm. No mileage constraints. Agreed value. Can not be primary vehicle. Very reasonable at about $185.00 for 6 months. Of course, I have all my vehicles and home insured with them. That makes a difference. I don't know if they will insure just the Cobra Replica without your other business. At the time I got the insurance from them, they would not cover an original Cobra.
