Nick,
Make sure you register your car on kellison if you haven't done so already. Is this one of the Stallions that was listed on eBay over the last few months? How many miles were on it? Any "factory" paperwork to go along with it? Being that it was made in 1980 it may actually be a Red Stallion or a Special Editions (circa July 1980 and sold by Jim Kellison in kit form). There is a lot of information on the kellisoncars website that's been gathered over the years. The history of Kellison Stallions and its many varieties is very unique.
Welcome to the club.

Hi Stallion 112
This car was not an ebay listing. It actually was a 2 owner car, the first owner bought it from Kellison as a production car and had it 12 years, the owner I bought it from had it for 10 years. There are 30,500 miles on it.
I filled out the registration on the Kellison site a couple of days ago, but have not heard anything back yet.
Thanks for your insight.

I have some of the original sales brochures. They show the same hood with the louvers in it, they are from 1980. Would you like a copy? Sweet ride!

it's titled as an 80 but vin on frame is 79, shipped no motor, no trans, with 9" rear.
it is really nice never been messed with ever, paint is still original.

if anyone out there has any kellison emblems for the steering wheel center i'm sure either Nick or I would be interested in them.

Hi Nickbax, send me a PM with your address and I will make some copies and get them to you. I really liked the Stallion and in July of 1980 I order one went to the factory and put down a deposit. I got a delay with the back order syndrome and in the mean time I had a ride in a Contemporary Classic and ended up canceling and going with Contemporary. But the frame is just awesome on the Kellison but I never thought the MustangII frontend was the best choice but today all of that can be replaced with tubular stuff.
