Wow! I grew up in a vette family, my dad had a 54 that was his pride and joy- he sold it when I came along (but saw lots of pics and heard about it always) and later a 69. So I finally saved up enough to get something fun and started looking at Corvettes ...but I absolutely fell head over heels over Cobras. Didn't take long - 1 week- and I found one and bit the bullet. Sorry dad...%/

Welcome to the family Cal. Be sure to check in at Deep South Cobra Club. We have an annual meet in the fall. The host city will be Jupiter. It is usually a 3 day event with some tours, a show and some track time if you like. Generally get about 50-60 cars in the past few years due to the economy. We have had nearly 100 cars show up in the past. Depending on where you live in Fla there should be members to hook up with.

Yes in Sarasota...I've seen a couple of cobras here in town. Quite a few owners on the swfl coast? Mine is shipping later this month so can't wait- though with the weather I haven't been missing too much.
