New in Lake George NY
Hi everyone. I am new to the forum and looking for get some advice. I am looking at getting myself into cobra and I am looking for some advice. I am not looking to build as I have limited time so complete is best. I also have some specs that I like. I prefer the 427 and I have a budget of 50,000.00 or so. Any thoughts on where to look, what I should look for, and kit manufacturers you reccomend above the others? I know I am not covering all of the questions so any other advice would be great!
Thanks and I look forward to going through this process with you all and showing off the new toy once its done. |

Thats awesome advice, thanks allot! I did forget to mention that I am 6'4". Not sure if that will be a problem or not as I know someone else who has one and he is 6'2". If you or anyone thinks it will be an issue let me know.
Thanks again! |
Take a look at the Unique on the for sale part of the home page. It's a smoking deal on a great replica. Nothing against the SPF or Backdraft but this really is a reputable company.
If you do get a Cobra keep the Green Mountain Cobras in mind. We do a run a month and even have a member in Elizabethtown. Tim |

Welcome to the "worse drug habit":D there is . I am partial to the West Coast Cobra, it is built for larger individual like you and me, 4" wider and 6" longer . The prices are quire reasonable for what you get and they ride great. I purchased mine already done from the owner in San Francisco CA. It has a 427 FE Side Oiler engine 5 sp tranny and a 9" Ford single axle rear end. If you have more questions send me a Private Message and we can talk more. There is a dealer right here in NY in Syracuse Perry Adams, great guy to deal with and first and foremost he is honest. Hope to hear from you Sincerely Lou http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d.../427_VENOM.jpg http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/pict...d=7870&thumb=1 http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/pict...=10241&thumb=1 http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/pict...=10242&thumb=1 |
There are two nice, low mileage ERAs for sale at Wayne Carini's F40 Motorsports in Portland Ct right now. One big block in black and one small block in British Racing Green. Both are like new and priced in the 50s. You can see them on his website, F40 Motorsports. Good luck.
