Hello all!
Hi Everyone
My purpose for joining this forum is to gain some insight and advice. My late brother was Mark Doherty (aka Glasssnake). My brother has been gone for over 10 yrs and now our father has decided to sell Mark's Cobra glassing set-up. For those of you that didn't know Mark, he was an avid Cobra enthusiast and owned his own company building Cobra replicas. Before going into business on his own, Mark worked for Everett-Morrison, which is where he crafted his molds. What I wish to find out is, what a complete molding operation might be worth and if there is a venue where we are more apt to generate some interest. Any input and/or opinions will be appreciated. Thank you! |
Old molds without a jig for creating a matching chassis are worth scrap pricing. \\Then again the type of molds (two piece, three piece, four piece, etc) will affect any real value as well.
Take pictures, post them here, write a complete and detailed description of what you have on your hands, go from there. Ebay is most likely your only place to find a buyer for such things these days. Bill S. Quote:

Hi Bill
Thanks for the input. Yes, the jig is included. According to my father, every thing needed to build a chassis/body is included (dad is an ex-body shop owner himself). I agree we need to supply more info. Pics will follow soon, and dad is working on the inventory. Thanks again! EDIT: Hope the link to the pics works... https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=f1262...HH8heOrmO4AZBc * |
