New to the game
Hello,
Fell in love with a Cobra 1965 but could not afford it, at the cost of $ 4600.00 that came to the store as a trade in at Grant Spalding Doge in the Chicago area. So I settled for a 1964 Doge 426 for about a $1000.00 less. Now in 2014 just recently found a Backdraft Cobra with a small block 427 Dart engine, HR-780-VS Quick Fuel Carb. putting 550 horses to the wheels and 454Ft. Lbs. with a Tremec TKO Transmission. The car as good as new having only 850 miles on it, but it did cost me just a little more than the $4600.00 back in 65. Now if I can figure out how to add a picture, we will see one, if not this time one will follow. If any one wonders if I had it at a track yet, no I am to darn old and chicken for now, maybe once I know the car better! Had trouble uploading picture, I did send note to administrator. Old Fart |
Congratulations. Take it slow with your Cobra and don't let anybody talk you into driving it beyond your limits...
