I just recently bought a Cobra. It was listed as a 1967 in WI but a florida specialized plate says 1965, just curious if anyone knows the differences in the two. It was built by Everett Morrison in 2001-2002 and I emailed them with no response yet.

Just curious!! Thanks for any help.

How is it titled, and which VIN is listed on the which plate?

I think it is titled 1967 and the vin is an EM427SC...... something like that

It has florida plates on it but I don't believe it was ever titled in FL just WI

Need to know the following off the title:

Make:
Model:
Year:
VIN:

Then we need to know what is stamped in to both tags you have on the car, as EM427SC is most likely stamped into your reproduction Shelby tag, but that is most likely not how the car is titled. EM427SC1********9 is a proper VIN

You'll also need to know what state the car is titled in, which will be on the title paperwork you have in your hands.

Finally, you need to be very specific when you respond, answers like "I think" will not help you at all, as the only proper responses have to be based on the facts. Since you recently bought it, you most certainly should have a title in hand, otherwise, you do not currently, and legally own the car.

The vin info is incorrect . As these are spcn cars they use the manufacturers vin. My title has a 9 digit vin.

It was never registered until the guy who ordered it died, they then had it registered in WI and listed it as a 1967 Everett Roadster with a vin of EM427SC1323012201

Then your first question was a moot point, as it is a 1967 Everett Roadster on the title, with the Everett Morrison assigned VIN number as shown.

The other plate should be removed and discarded
