The time has come...
Hey everyone! I’ve actually been a member here since 2012. This is my 2nd post. Some would call me a ‘troll’ %/ I prefer ‘dreamer’ :D
I did the same thing on the corvette forum before buying my (2) Corvettes (now sold). So I’m finally in the place to build (or buy) a cobra! Next weekend I am taking a ride up to Vintage Motorsports from SE PA to meet with Jay, then on to Factory Five. I’ve already met with Johnathan Motorsports in NJ and been to the FFR booth at the Ford Nationals this year (in Carlisle PA). I’m actually struggling with the Cobra vs. Daytona decision. The coupe is cheaper and I would have equity in the build but it would take time. But if I go the Cobra route I have to go Backdraft (sorry FFR!), and while it would be more expensive I would be able to enjoy a better built car sooner. Pro’s and cons to both sides. Anyway - looking forward to some cruises in the future! |
You should really try to stop by ERA on your way home from FFR.
Also, although I have never been in a FFR coupe, I have been in a Kirkham coupe and I could not believe how much more difficult it is to get in and out of a coupe compared to a Cobra. Maybe it's just me... |
