I think that you are misreading his moniker. It is CCX, not CSX. That means he has a Contemporary Classics cobra. There are several owners of original cobras on this forum that provide a wealth of information for us. Some of them have owned their cobras for many years, even purchased them brand new. I think that I have seen more nose rubbing from owners of non-sixties cobras than I have seen from people who own cobras from that decade.

Relax a little and enjoy the site.

Jim

....umm, I assume by the "" that you're not joking?

The newcomer's name is Richard (aka "Rich")

Welcome Rich.

Cheers,
Glen

edit: Jim, you just got in ahead of me by seconds!

Glen,

That's the racer in me, just a couple of seconds quicker than you

You may be right, he might have misread "Rich" as a nickname to mean rich financially. Most people are used to seeing Rick as a nickname as opposed to Rich for Richard. Rather than mistaking CCX for CSX.

When my #2 daughter was about ten she had a friend who tried to impress by bragging about how rich her family was. My daughter came home and started telling us all about how rich they were and how much the girls parents made per hour. (They were not rich but pretty average).

I asked my daughter if she thought we were rich. She thought a few seconds and said "We're rich in love dad".

I said that's right my dear!

That was about 30 years ago. It is a moment I have since held dearly.;)
