Finally did it - ordered a Cobra kit!

**)Took me 15+ years to finally get to the point in my life where I have the time and means to build a Cobra and**) now I'm patiently waiting for my "full roller" Shell Valley kit to be delivered --- pending COVID 19 doesn't slow things down.

Hope to get a lot of good tips from you guys along the way to completion! Planning on going to the London Cobra Show in Ohio to pick some brains.

Congratulations, it's never too late. Hopefully the pandemic will not slow things down too much for you. Good luck and make sure to post pictures as your build commences.

If you need an engine, I'm near Louisville.

Good for you! It took me about 35 years to get to that point. Some dreams are worth waiting for.

This is good for us, too. The more people we can rope in to this craziness, the more "normal" it appears. ;)

Welcome Ricky, and congrats. Once bitten there is no CURE :) You will find out how many smiles per miles these are, but dance slowly at first, as all Cobras whisper to their handlers "Respect me or I'll kill you" every time you fire yours up ;) Cheers Tom.

Congrat’s! Brent Lykins would be a great source for an Engine and transmission for you - and close by you....

Congratulations!

I always wanted to build a car from scratch. Now that I can afford to I don't have the energy.

I did build a nice street rod from a basket case though. Actually wrote checks, made choices and gathered material for it.

I guess I got in enough greasy stuff keeping my old cars on the road back when my five kids were still under my wing.

Welcome and congrats on your new cobra. I also have a Shell Valley Cobra and it will be getting painted this month providing Covid19 doesn't stop operations . Dana and the guys at Shell Valley are top notch they build a really nice kit, good luck and post pics of your build along the way.
