Hello from SW CO

Good afternoon in the US. I do not have a Cobra, yet. In fact I joined to ask a question in the "scam" thread.

Anyway I am in the market, have the money, not in a hurry and enjoy the journey. I have lurked here for a couple months, and there seems to be a wealth of knowledge on this site.

I am coming back to the car world after a several year hiatus. Too many other hobbies but I am now scaling back to my original love. I love to wrench on just about anything, especially if it has an internal combustion engine as a component. I have dreamed of owning a Cobra since I saw my first in 1979. Now I am going to make that a reality.

Hope everyone is still getting to enjoy their cars with all the craziness over the last few months.

Thank you.

I love the Durango area! What do you do down there?

Have you been to the Gateway Auto Museum? I'd do it as an overnight from where you are and stay at their hotel - it's world class especially the restaurant.

Be patient, the right car will show up. Read through everything here (it took me the better part of a year before I bought mine and the info was so helpful!

Keep an eye on Cobra Country (www.cobracountry.com). The right car might show up there.

You've got the right attitude. Stick with that and you shouldn't go wrong.
Welcome to the forum. As Tony said, check out Cobra Country. There is a wide variety of cars there. Looking at many at once also helps you narrow down what features/colours etc. you think are important.
Also, look for your local Cobra club. They will look after you :), giving you rides in their cars as well as plenty of advice.

Cheers!
Glen

I know it's a long drive for you. But are you going to Ford Fest at Bandimere on Sunday? There's likely to be a few Cobra's there.
