New NAF from Italy
Hi
My name is Vittorio, I live in Italy. To get an Historic Vehicle Status in Italy of my NAF Cobra I need a Model Year Verification. The NAF Plate on my car reads NAF 42701050J84 Can someone please help me getting a VIN decoder? I called and sent emails to the NAF website but no answers! Is there anyone with a similar VIN number that is sure about Model Year? Thank you, any help will be appreciated |

Hello Vittorio. The original buyer/owner of the NAF kit would have received a "legal" document called a "Certificate of Manufacture".
This document would have listed the serial number and date of manufacture. The last two digits of the serial number on my documentation corresponds with the year of manufacture. In your case 84 = 1984. Cheers Greg |
