Hello and welcome to the club. We have another member from Paris, though she hasn't posted in a while. Look her up - her forum name is Bourret and we know her as "Queenie".
She races a nice looking Ram 427 Cobra with a 482ci Shelby motor. Coincidentally, you work in avionics and she is a commercial pilot.
I like the Dax Cobras and the the little bit of history that John Tojeiro, who designed the original AC Ace, also designed and worked on the Dax. Please post pictures and keep us updated on your restoration project.

It's good to see that Tojiero made a little more of the Ace based cars. AC gave him a giant 5 Quid per car! 5 times roughly 735 is 3,675, not much even in the 50s!

Buzz 11-15-2021 07:10 AM

Yep - the car was actually originally sold as the Dax Tojeiro, so I'm sure he made a bit more than what the skinflints at AC paid him!
