UK Coupe build!!!
Hello all,
I'm just in the final throws of ordering a coupe kit from shell valley and shipping it to the UK. They suggested this site as an awesome hive of info for my build so here I am! Am expecting delivery early December so am busy sorting out my garage and making sure I've got the right tools, any suggestions? I'm quite apprehensive about the whole thing, have only built one Lotus seven variant about 8 years ago and it was a bit like "my first kit car" compared to this so any advice before I get going would be hugely appreciated. I've gone for a complete kit from SV less engine, gearbox, wheels, tyres and a couple of other bits which won't pass UK laws. Does the SV kit fit together very well or does it need a lot of fettling? Have ordered a 302 from Enginefactory and a TKO500 from DDPerformance to go in it. Am v excited to become one of only four in the whole of the UK!!! Please give me help/support - I forsee a long road ahead. |

great have you any news on the car i'll be very interested to speak to you because i'm looking to buy a cobra but here in ireland this is impossible to do so ( kit car cannot be imported) cheers |
