Welcome aboard, looks like your build is progressing well.

Thanks Mick.
It is a learn as I go in progress .....
I hope the summit is as exciting as my climb has been thus far. I still need a lot of parts though.

Venam, what parts are you lacking? Ptrick here fabricates stuff, maybe he can whip up some parts for ya.

Venamm 11-06-2007 10:40 PM

seats, all glass, all outside lights and chrome fittings, roll bar, rag top kit, inside liners.....phew!!!

mickmate 11-07-2007 04:00 AM

I don't know how original you want to go but there's a list here http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/originality-forum/71005-original-cobra-parts.html that may help with your parts search. I don't like paying "Cobra" prices for garden variety British stuff. Things like headlights can also be sourced from Triumph, MG etc. Keep an eye on the for sale stuff here on CC and bide your time on e-bay once you know what your looking for. Also be nice to Santa, (s)he sometimes shops at places like Finishline and Cobranda........

Mick,
I had no idea that Triumph and MG parts worked. I just sold my TR6 with a heck of a lot of spare parts. Thanks for the list it will help.
