Only(?) GD Cobra in the US now in FL from the UK
OK, enough acronyms. I finally shipped my GD Euro (www.gdcars.com) from the UK (well actually from Ireland) to join me here in south Florida. Believe me shipping a Cobra kit car from the UK to the US is something of an ordeal!
I am expecting some ribbing but it is fitted with a 383 Chevy stroker. As odd as that might sound it is fairly normal in the UK. It has a BTR LSD axle and a Tremec TKO II 5 speed. I will stick a photo or two up in the next day or so once I get the camera out to it. The GD is a very race oriented kit with a superb chassis. Happy to show anyone local enough to Palm Beach what is probably the only GD in the US at the moment. The fact it is right hand drive has already had the neighbors scratching their heads in disbelief. The Lonestar I had last year has moved into pastures new to make way for my real baby! Paul |
Hate to say it but I believe there are at least three other GD's in Florida alone :D ......

Blimey, must say I had no idea!
Wonder if they were shipped in or bought through the new distributor that, as far as I know, isn't up and running on the Cobras yet. Actually, I just did some searches on this site and see quite a few GD threads so must completely agree that there appear to be dozens already here, I am duly reprimanded. Paul |
right hand drive ...... coooool
