New to forum

Hi, Just registered as a new user, although been a cobra owner for last 12 or 13 years (Butler). Found this site recently and am amazed at the wealth of knowledge available here. Located in Bakersfield Ca.

Leo, welcome to the site. Always happy to find another Butler on here. I have Butler #86. Tell us about your car and post some pics.

Just did some work on mine. Check out "ffcobra" forum and search "car porn". Just finished that work.

Again, welcome

Thanks for the welcome. My car is a pretty generic butler. I have a mild 351W with a top loader. I will check tonight on the vin #. Have pics but nothing recent, will take some new. Car is Black with tan interior. Upgrades I am looking at are switching to a TKO 600, and updating the front suspension. Several years ago I ran the car at some track days. Had a ball, but after brushing the inside wall going backwards at Las Vegas, I decided it was too nice a car to do that with.

I am going to upgrade my front suspension as well. Check out "fastcarsinc.com". You will see a fine front suspension designed to replace the MGB that is under most Butlers. Ted, the owner is a really nice guy and he will be doing the work on my car sometime in the next month when I can take the car to him.

This might give you some ideas.

Leo,

Welcome to the club. I see that Russ and you already have something in common. But there are a lot of people here that can help with about any problem or question that you may have. Enjoy the experience.

Ron :)

Leo,,,,,,,,I bought the fiberglass 427 body from you,,,,,,had to have been 16 to 18 years ago. I've been in your store many times over the years, but have not seen you. I think the last time we spoke was shortly after you bought your 2nd cobra........Ron

nice to here from you. It has been a long time. I'm spending most of my time in the hardware business now as I sold the Auto Parts portion of the business last Oct. I see in your bio you have a kirkham. What a nice ride. Let's get together and compare notes. I'm pretty flexible time wise now.
