Hello all, new guy to your forum, thank you for allowing me here.

Does anybody have any input on a 9 year old CSX4000 car. I found a guy that has alot of parts that he has for sale, he has a huge story behind it. anyway he wants $15k for a body/frame/complete aluminum rear end with half shafts/ front fender wells/spindals/ no upper or lower A arm for front or rear.

possble body # 4754 or 56

I afraid I will not be able to find parts that fit?

IF it is a csx 4000 series Cobra I would think Kirkham could sell you any part you need.

Yeah, Dwight is right.
Aluminum CSX 4000 cars start life as Kirkhams so all the parts are avail through them.
It'll take some time but 15 k could be a great deal. Good luck.

If this car was listed on the SF Bay Area Craigslist, be very careful. The CSX # that was given in the ad was for complete running CSX that exists and is/was for sale back East. I remember the ad as saying that he has no paperwork to prove that it's a REAL CSX. He's been trying to sell the pieces to that car for a very long time.

Where are you located, I own CSX4264 and know a few things about them, where you get parts, pieces etc. and know some people that have some for sale.

We could try to get together if you are here in NorCal and avoid a long string of postings. Also I would introduce you to the BACC group that would give you a large base of information to help in your decision.
