Newbie, Fresh meat..
Posted this on new, new chat thread, but i figured it would be noticed here more... i'm new to this whole forum, so excuse me :)
just thought i'd introduce myself, on this thread and being considered the "fresh meat" before anyone jumps to conclusions, i don't know a lot about cars, but one things for sure.. At the age of 5, was when i FIRST fell in love with an AC cobra and will forever be in my blood. My dad has been building an AC cobra and found out a couple days ago that it will FINALLY be mine after MANY years because he will be moving away. So just thought i'd sum it up and if i had any questions about anything with the cobra, i'd find help here. Thanks |
Welcome aboard. Be sure to get in touch with the Bay Area Cobra Club. They get together on a regular basis. Keep an eye on their forum for the next meet.

Thank you!! Well it's a 1965 Shelby Cobra with a 5.0 baca racing motor, my dad had it as a kit car and built it inside and out.. It's still has a lot of work, but I'm hoping to do my father proud and finish what he started.

HAHA.. thanks everyone for the welcome and the offers.. and yeah.. i guess i could be one of the dudes LOL.. and we all share the same interest (car wise) but i'll definitely take some pictures and share with you guys soon. i have to pick it up in a couple of months so i'll be happy to show everyone.
My dad had several cars at one time when my sisters and i grew up.. both of my sisters ALWAYS fought over the 60's camaro.. and i KNEW i wanted the Cobra, and that day has finally come.. so YES i'm VERY LUCKY!! |
